A glorious weekend in Motueka staying at a friend of a friends place with stunning views over the whole area. being Pams birthday weekend photography wasn’t high up on the agenda but somehow all my gear managed to tag along anyhow..:D
Luckily Sundays sunrise is , briefly quite spectacular, but proved quite hard to capture.
The view was way too wide with quite a lot of things in the way of a panoramic, the dynamic range was huge. So time to concentrate where the action is and I decided to shoot bracketed and HDR later.
After quite a bit of playing round in Photomatix 3.2 and some tweaking in Photoshop the result is close to those gorgeous few minuets before the rain came in.
Hopefully theres a few more gems burried in the files from the weekend, hopefully a nice series of almost B&W misty forest shots and a few Riwaka Resurgence ones too, if not theres always this one.
